If you’re preparing for your first visit to LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Water Park, I put together this quick list of TIPS and answers to FAQs to help make your visit even more enjoyable.
We just returned from our first visit to LEGOLAND this summer and we had a blast! With over 50 rides, attractions, and shows, LEGOLAND® guarantees fun for the whole family from toddlers to teens and adventure seekers. We also spent a portion of our visit at the water park. Well worth the additional ticket cost, especially in the summer.
If you have questions about the park, be sure to leave them in the comments below!
Six Tips for Your First Visit to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort and Water Park
- You can bring your own food and drinks to LEGOLAND® and the water park. We froze water bottles to keep them cool for the majority of the day. Refilled the bottles and restaurants around the park.
- Pack your own towels for the water park. Otherwise you’ll have to buy towels. There are no towels available for rent.
- The water park is at an additional cost and includes activities for toddlers to teens to adventure seekers. There’s a wave pool, water slides of all sizes, lazy river (tubes provided), DUPLO® Splash Safari for toddlers, and several interactive play areas.
- There are lockers available throughout the park for storage of personal items. There is a small fee.
- Waterpark closes earlier than the rest of the park so you’ll want to start your day there if you plan to spend most of your time at the Waterpark.
- Parking is $17 per car. More if you opt for partially covered parking. Your parking pass is good for the whole day if you plan to leave the park and then come back later at night.
Everyone was happy at LEGOLAND including my 15 year-old. LEGOLAND definitely received the Jonesie family stamp of approval! If your family is looking for a great day out or a quick vacation getaway near or in Florida, add LEGOLAND parks to your next weekend getaway!
Thanks to LEGOLAND for hosting our family for an awesome visit!
