Three Lessons Your Kids Will Learn in Disney's Newest Adventure, The Pirate Fairy

Our family loved The Pirate Fairy*, Disney’s latest adventure film from the world of  Peter Pan!  The Pirate Fairy takes families on an adventure about Zarina, Tinker Bell’s friend.  When Zarina gets herself into some trouble, she has to flee Pixie Hollow. Tinker Bell and the other fairies follow along to save their friend. Soon they find out she’s gotten herself mixed up with pirates on the island of Skull Rock. Through the adventure you meet a number of animal friends too including Baby Croc, the cutest baby crocodilo ever, Blaze the firefly, and more. Using their pixie dust and quick thinking, the fairies sprinkle some magic to bring their amiga home!

Disney's Pirate Fairy Movie Review: A Must See Movie About Friendship

The movie shares with us the true meaning of friendship, team work, and forgiveness. As a mom of three children it’s not always easy to find ways to teach your children about these three important life skills. But when you find a film that can speak these valuable lessons to our children, then you know you’re not only in for a good time but also can share a conversation about what the characters of the film learned. Following the movie, we did just that. Just a few moments of reflection on how what it really means to forgive in friendships that you value.
