La Blast Fitness Program
As part of a special anniversary event, I get to dance with the stars in the Grand Velas fun fitness program, La Blast. La Blast is a new, interval training dance fitness program created by Dancing with the Stars celebrity Louis Van Amstel. The program gets you in the best shape while learning different styles of dance.
There’s no question I will be Eating La Vida Loca and feeding my culinary senses as I sample all the top rated food. I’m definitely looking forward to burning some calories while I’m there.
Luxurious Cocktails
There’s also a new French Cocktail Menu at Grand Velas Riviera Maya inspired by the legendary French singer and cultural icon, Edith Piaf. The menu features 12 drinks using traditional top-shelf French liqueurs.
Accommodations
The resort offers oceanfront and jungle terraces, private plunge pools, in-room massage tables, whirlpool bathtubs, and a Kids Club, and high-tech teen lounge. There’s also Four Diamond Restaurants on site, Koi Sports Bar and Dancing lounge, and a full service spa. Located just sixty miles from Cancun International airport, there’s a lot to see within driving distance in the Riviera Maya. I hope to visit Chichen Itza, Tulum, and Maya Coba.
