I woke up this morning to more Donald Trump news.
Back in 2011, Donald Trump called attorney Elizabeth Beck “disgusting” after she stated she needed to break for lunch during a deposition to pump breast milk for her 3 month old baby. Beck was representing the opposing side.
You would think Trump would deny the allegations. Instead, Trump and his general counsel attempted to defend the remarks and go so far as to claim the woman was trying to pump in the deposition room with everyone one it.
Yeah, okay Mr. Trump.
According to CNN this morning, Alan Garten, executive vice president and general counsel at The Trump Organization, “did not dispute the remark, but said Trump called Beck “disgusting” because she was about to use her breast pump in the middle of the deposition room.”
“She was disgusting,” Garten said in a phone interview with CNN. “She was attempting to breast feed — to pump in the middle of a deposition, in a deposition room with five lawyers and was not excusing herself.”
As if calling a woman “disgusting” for breastfeeding wasn’t enough. Trump Tweeted this morning calling Beck a terrible attorney for losing the case. “Lawyer Elizabeth Beck did a terrible job against me, she lost (I even got legal fees). I loved beating her,she was easy,” he tweeted.”

What an ultimate Douchebag. I can’t even imagine what Beck was feeling at the time this all happened, or even today as Trump continues to insult this woman. A new mom, practicing attorney in a high profile case, little baby at home?
Oh no.
Beck’s story reminded me of the time I had a hearing with an opposing male attorney who thought it was “funny” I had to attend the hearing in my “condition.” My condition was 7 months pregnant, 60 pounds heavier, and there against doctor’s orders (it was my last hearing). You better believe I got a judgment in my client’s favor that morning.
If I was Beck, I would’ve lost all kinds of sense that day. Calling me and my baby’s food disgusting? You may have seen me jump across the table to snatch the last remaining pieces of Trump’s bleach blond comb over. Then I would have pushed his face into my engorged boobs with veins all over them to show him what “disgusting” felt like.
To keep things in perspective, Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump was only about four years-old. You would think a father of five would be somewhat understanding of Beck’s situation but that would be too much like thinking Trump was a decent man.
Yet the polls keep showing Trump to be the forerunner in the Republican race. I’m actually considering helping to campaign and fundraise for another Republican candidate just so we can have a legitimate Republican candidate in the lead. Republicans, do your job and get rid of this joker called Donald Trump!
